Orange County California - Sheriff's Department reported that two teenage minors suffered serious injuries following a traffic collision on Friday, Nov. 6, at 8:01 p.m. Deputies responding to Yorba Linda Boulevard and Ohio Street found two vehicles involved, with one having collided with a tree and the second sustaining minor damage.
The driver of the first vehicle, 16-year-old Matthew Andres Santome of Placentia, was pronounced deceased at the hospital. A 15-year-old female passenger remained in critical condition, while no other injuries were found.
The driver of the second vehicle cooperated with law enforcement at the scene. Authorities stated that drugs and alcohol are not suspected as contributing factors.
