Stanbridge University has announced plans to move its main Orange County location to Park Place in Irvine, as reported by The Manila Times. The institutional move will begin in phases in December 2026, bringing updated learning spaces and expanded student services to the new site.
The future location sits a short distance from the university's current facilities. The Park Place property provides structured parking garage options, quick freeway access to Interstate 405, and close proximity to John Wayne Airport. On-site facilities for healthcare students will feature outdoor collaboration areas, dining options, coffee shops, fitness spaces, walking and biking routes, and electric vehicle charging stations. Nearby housing options will also be located within steps of the campus setting.
According to Stanbridge University President Yasith Weerasuriya, who spoke to The Manila Times, the move represents a direct investment in the school's student body. Weerasuriya noted that Orange County has served as the foundation for the institution's growth since 1996, expressing gratitude to the local community and confirming the university's commitment to building its future within the city of Irvine.
Educational operations will remain uninterrupted during the multi-stage transition period. The university confirmed that academic classes, clinical training sessions, and student support programs will continue as scheduled while construction and move preparations proceed toward the initial December 2026 phase.
