Newport Beach Indy reported that Goodwill of Orange County raised $170,000 during its annual fundraising event, The Good Lunch 2026, held on October 15 at the Newport Beach Country Club.
Over 200 business leaders and community members attended the gathering, which brought together local employers and philanthropic supporters. Funds from the event will back workforce development programs aimed at helping young adults secure career pathways and job training. Nicole Suydam, President and CEO of Goodwill of Orange County, told the publication that the funds help provide support for young adults to overcome barriers to employment.
